Charlie Hersant, Ant Farm Supplies
Hi, I am the founder of Ant Farm Supplies and your host for Ant Show UK. I've been keeping ants for over 6 years and what started as a hobby quickly became a passion - and eventually, a business.
Ant Farm Supplies was born out of frustration. Like many UK ant keepers, I found myself facing high costs and overseas shipping when trying to buy quality ant nests. I knew there had to be a better way - so I started designing and producing my own. The result? The Terra nest range: a naturalistic, highly functional habitats that ants love. Over the past 3 years, its been amazing to see our products gain such popularity and trust in the ant-keeping community.
Why host an ant show?
The UK ant scene is growing fast - but until now, there has been no dedicated event where enthusiasts, from total beginners to seasoned keepers, can meet and discover everything different ant stores have to offer. While some reptile and insect shows feature ants, the presence is often small and inconsistent. Ant Show UK is here to change that.
Our goal is simple: to create a space where you can explore the incredible variety of ants and equipment available in the UK (and internationally too!) - all in person. Whether you're looking to start your first colony or expand your setup, this show is for you.
